What’s new in our disposable catalog – Part I

Have you downloaded the new catalogue yet? If your answer is YES, you may have seen that there are a lot of new products in it. We have tried to improve some aspect in each family of our products, even in the disposable section! Whether it is enlarging the range of our products or adding more patterns and sizes, we want to satisfy the needs of the HORECA industry.

It’s difficult to highlight just a few novelties without downplaying others, but if we were to mention each of our products here, this post would be eternal! So we have just picked a small representation of our products this week, hoping that you’ll find “just what you were looking for” among these and the rest of innovations in the catalogue.

Wet_towel_Flushable

Really enviromental friendly wet wipes and towelettes that can be thrown down the toilet.

PAGES 108-109 & 367 – TOTALLY FLUSHABLE TOWELETTES ECO-FLUSH

Of course we know that the word flushable means that you can throw it down the toilet, but unfortunately most of the “flushable” products on the market today are actually made from polyester, viscose and polipropilene fibres that damage the environment in blocking pipes and causing pollution to our rivers and seas.

94% of the towelettes in the market are not really flushable, as they are made of polyester, viscose, polypropylene… which it is nonbiodegradable.

The other 6%, inspite of being advertised as being flushable, may contain some type of toxic chemical mixers which are not 100% biodegradables and are not made from natural fibres.

In Garcia de Pou we can state that our rolled up towelettes, refreshing wipes and also our Flush-Linen hand towels are all 100% flushable, 100% biodegradable, 100% made from natural fibres, contain no chemical mixers, are compostables and FSC/PEFC certified.

Disposable napkins Like-linen

Napkins Like-linen, two side printed. They are disposable but look like linen.

PAGE 51 – NAPKINS AND TABLECLOTH LIKE-LINEN

The mixture of viscose and cellulose makes these disposable napkins and tablecloths more resistant, more pleasant to touch and, (the best bit) they look like fabric.

The new napkins are two sides printed, which provides an extra touch of elegance to the table. Once you’ve tried them, we’re sure you’ll fall in love with them. And one more thing! They are compostable and biodegradable.

For now we have introduced you to these novelties, but next week we will continue with a few more in the second part of this post.

Until then!
