Our products in ads, movies and TV series
Garcia de Pou is often present in the shooting of aderts, movies and TV series as a part of the atrezzo.
We have seen our products in the hands of celebrities , for example, in the Amica Chips ad who present their chips in our kraft cons customized with their brand and in the hands of goalkeeper Gigi Buffon!
We have also seen our New Year’s Eve party bags in the movie “Mi gran noche” by the Spanish director Alex de la Iglesia and with iconic Spanish actors and actresses Raphael, Mario Casas, Blanca Suárez, Santiago Segura as well as a long list of famous artists.
Our last intervention in the media was in Vancouver Media that produced the fiction series La Casa de Papel, created by Alex Pina for Antena 3 and Atresmedia. It’s a thriller TV series that tells the stories of thieves, hostages, police squads, and all the people involved in the biggest ever robbery of The National Factory of Engraving and Printing; a complex plot planned by the brain of the team, The Professor.

The plot includes the time lapse of the thieves who stay shut in the building together with the hostages, while they print legal currency with no track number. The relationships and differences between the team of thieves , the coexistence with the hostages and the slyness that the police must show enhance the plot and guarantee suspense in every episode.
Our contribution lies in providing authenticity for the scene that takes place in a coffeshop. The team of stylisits together with the directory of photography Migue Amoedo were looking for a classic vintage american look, with rectangle tables, cushioned benches and Venetian blinds that evoke the scenery of Quentin Tarantino’s films, the inspirational aesthetic for this series. The products from Garcia de Pou that have contributed to this style are the Paper Bags Feel Green, paper napkins, burguer containers, meat presentation items, etc. Our products are really so diverse that they can set from an american vintage style cafeteria to a picnic in the Versailles gardens in 18th century.
The decoration of the cafe scene creates the atmosphere of a typical vintage roadside coffeshop. The “American Style” products from our catalogue are perfect for setting these scenes.
